Mojo Monday 414 Card Sketch Challenge

Happy Wednesday!! I am so sorry I disappeared last week. I was suffering from what I describe as carpel tunnel. I wasn't able to move my right thumb most of the week, so it pretty much halted any of my creating last week.

My thumb is much better this week, so I got back to work, and have designed my next Mojo Monday card. This is the sketch we had to work from this week

Mojo Monday Card Challenge 411 - August 19, 2015

This week's Card Challenge was fun. The stars on the template made me think of 4th of July at first, but then I my mind started toying with back to school ideas... must be the time of the year.

Here is the template we had to work with from Mojo Monday.

I used all Close To My Heart products, and came up with this idea for a Thank You card I could use for one of my son's teacher's or even a coworker. The neutral slate gray color works well with the ruby red. Sorry my camera is not picking up the colors so well.

Mojo Monday Card Sketch Challenge

Starting this week I am going to be participating in the weekly Card Sketch Challenge by Mojo Monday. I love the challenge and all the great creations and ideas that are shared.

A sketch is posted each Monday, and I have all week to create my version. I wasn't able to get mine done and posted until today, but I will be posting my creations each week on Wednesdays.

This week, the challenge was to create a card based on this sketch.

I was feeling in the mood for a little sparkle, so I got out some Coral Shimmer Trim to use for this project and got started. Sorry the picture is a little fuzzy. I think my Ipad camera just might be giving up on me.
